We are excited to announce dates have been set for our 3rd - 6th grade Clinic/Tryout.  These sessions will be used as the evaluation process for 2023-24 Rocky River Travel Basketball teams. 

Enrollment will include three (3) sessions of basketball instruction by the RRHS Coaching staff.  In years’ past we have been fortunate enough to have enough players to have two teams per grade.  We are hopeful we will be able to do the same this year.  You must attend at least one session to be considered for a team.  If placed on a travel team there will be an additional registration for the season.

We plan to participate in the North Coast Youth Travel Association again for league play and we plan to enter each team in at least two tournaments outside of the league tournament.  Travel teams will practice twice a week and play league games on Sundays, December - February.

Registration is completed through www.rockyriverbasketball.com.  Please log into your account and register for the appropriate grade level.  If you do not have an account, please create one, add your child and you will see the available programs displayed.

Additional Details:

• A new practice jersey will be provided on the first day they attend. This should be worn at all sessions
• Kids should bring a water and a size 28.5 basketball with their name on it.  If you do not have one, there will be some basketballs available to borrow.
• We will start to sign the kids in at the High School or Middle School 10 minutes before the posted start time.  
• No parents or spectators will be allowed to stay inside the building during these sessions. Please wait outside for your child to exit the building for pickup (yes, this may make things a bit congested..)

In addition to the Clinic/Tryout for our 3rd-6th graders we will be holding a clinic for 1st and 2nd graders. We will not have 1st and 2nd grade travel teams, but would like to introduce them to the High School coaches and clinic structure.  The dates and times for these clinics have not been set, but additional information will be provided when registration is open.
